By providing a child with a safe home, you give them the freedom to dream again.
You could help a child feel safe and valued again; and with the positive effects of Fostering lasting a lifetime, you really could change a life. With 1700 children looking for a stable home EVERY month, we need more Foster Carers across London, Essex, Kent, Norfolk and the Thames Valley.
You don’t need to be married, in a couple, or have children of your own, to be a great Foster parent.
And YES single men can Foster!
Foster families come in all shapes and sizes and from all backgrounds, status, ethnicities and genders.
Some Foster Carers are married AND some are single; some are parents already and some don’t have children of their own – it really doesn’t matter as long as you have the commitment and resilience to welcome a looked after child into your heart and home.
But you MUST have a spare bedroom for a child to call their own.
Fostering can be challenging but is always incredibly rewarding. If you are interested in Fostering and would like to know more, just contact us for more information or to arrange a home visit.

We recognise that Foster Carers are well trained professionals and as such we ensure that all our Carers receive comprehensive, role specific training; ongoing career development and a competitive pay structure.
What benefits will I receive?
If you choose to apply to become a Foster Carer, the assessment process will usually take between 3 – 6 months. All members of your household will be involved in the process but only you (and your partner if applying as a couple) will be formally assessed.
The children that we look after come from a broad range of backgrounds, ethnicities and experiences so it is important for us to find Carers that best match these. So be yourself, be open and honest and raise any concerns you may have and always ask if there is anything that you don’t understand or need more information about. We are here to help, and are with you every step pf the way.
