We regard fostering as a profession, often involving continuous input and appreciate that monetary award is an important consideration. Our intention is to offer a highly competitive financial package and this is centred around both your experience and skills. Accordingly we have a tiered system as to the weekly fee you receive.

Our objective and hopefully also your aspiration is to move you to the top tier on the back of our training, development and ongoing support. Our Social Work team will review your position twice a year in May and November to ensure that you are progressing with your training needs.

We would expect the weekly fee to cover all expenses. Also on occasions there are special financial needs which may impact on the family budget and we adopt a flexible approach on a case by case basis.

In addition you are also entitled to 16 nights paid respite care annually.

A discretionary bonus scheme is also in operation so that increasing one off payments are made after 1, 3, 5, 7, 10, 15 and 20 years in line with your professional development.

Additional fees apply if for example you are looking after a Parent and Child or a young person with disabilities.
