Our Services

Next Step aims to provide a specific range of services to each and every child who is referred to us. Our matching process ensures that we consider all aspects of a child’s needs vigorously, so that we provide the right level of service. Our commitment to making a positive difference to a child’s life can be seen in the range of services made available and the high rate of placement stability achieved.

Our Services We only recruit foster carers who are able to demonstrate a high level of motivation, care and skills. In turn, carers at Next Step are regarded as fellow professional and are therefore committed to develop their skills through learning opportunities, engagement in professional supervision and the like.

We manage a 24 hour, 365 days a year service to our looked after children and young people, our foster carers and placing authority social worker customers.

This means that we are able to respond efficiently to requests for emergency foster placements, planned permanent placements and everything in between.
